Why pair the unlikely combination of face and thigh together?

Because the face and the thigh are the two most visible places that aging first shows: the face in terms of lines and wrinkles, and the thigh in terms of cellulite.

Let’s be scientific for a moment. What causes aging of the skin?

Aging, at the level of the epidermis, is caused when the structure of collagen and elastic fibers lose their resilient, youthful integrity. One of the main reasons this happens is because of free radicals. When free radicals meet collagen in the body, the particular enzyme responsible for collagen integrity is not able to realize its function. There is a decrease in the water-retaining ability of the collagen molecules; the visible manifestation of this is that the skin gets (and looks) dried-out. As well, aging causes a diminution in enzymes. The enzyme that specifically affects aging of the skin, hyaluronic acid, is diminished, as are the enzymes that affect the respiration of the cells, as well. Cell regeneration is negatively affected, and there is a decrease in the energy of the cells. In the face, wrinkles and lines are the result. In the thighs, dimpling occurs because fat cells don’t receive a sufficient quantity of oxygen; blood flow is diminished and products of cell activities are no longer removed via the cell membrane. There is, then, a stagnation of liquid in subcutaneous tissue.

The product consists of olive oil that has been infused with essential oils and our secret weapon against visible signs of aging: activated oxygen. Activated oxygen is a unique agent, preserving and restoring the natural beauty and health of skin. Activated oxygen therapy does not mask defects of skin, but normalizes its natural functions. Make note: this is not your usual spa therapy of oxygen applied to the face (or thigh). The form of oxygen we use has an added molecule, making it O₃; (instead of O₂), and it is precisely this added molecule that gives this form of oxygen its special properties. It takes 3 weeks—day and night—of infusing the oil (using our special equipment) with the activated oxygen to make this cream.

There are over 1000 lymph ducts in the face and cheeks. (That’s why stagnation of lymphatic fluid causes swelling in the face, eyes, etc.) The activated oxygen is able to enter the lymphatic system and dissolve toxic mucous in the facial tissue that lies above the mucous membrane.
